Online presence is a powerful way to launch or grow your brand, but it takes monitoring and adjusting with web analytics.
To successfully launch and grow a brand it is important to measure how effect it is. Once you know how effective it is, you have a base line to compare, as you make changes to better communicate the brand and connect with existing and new potential customers.
Just like having a dashboard in your vehicle to measure fuel levels, engine temperature, oil pressure, tire pressure, tachometer or a malfunction indicator lamp, it is important to monitor how your brand is doing. Just like your car dashboard, analytics have different ways to monitor how your online presence is doing.
Without monitoring your online brand presence through analytics, your brand can run out of gas or malfunction in ways your may not be aware of that will hinder the business in launching or growing the brand. Just like you would not go on a long trip with out periodically looking at your dashboard, you do not want to launch or grow your online brand presence in the dark.
Successful websites and social media platforms have analytics build into them. Today lets start with Google Analytics. According to Google, “Google Analytics lets you do more than measure sales and conversions. It also gives insights into how visitors find and use your site, and how to keep them coming back.”
1. If your website is not using Google Analytics, setup an account and start using it. They have a free version.
2. If you have a website with Google Analytics, monitor it regularly.
