Brand Outreach to Parents with Children

Last week, I shared about looking for potential brand customers, in niche markets. Once you have identified a niche customer market, look how your brand can better connect with these individuals and add value to their life.

Here is another niche example, parents with children. November 17, 2016 — The majority of America’s 73.7 million children under age 18 live in families with two parents (69 percent), according to new statistics released today from the U.S. Census Bureau. This is compared to other types of living arrangements, such as living with grandparents or having a single parent.

Better connecting and adding value example: this company has reserved parking spaces closer to the store entrance to make it easier and more convenient for parents with children to shop.

Another opportunity is Parents‘ Day held on the fourth Sunday of July. This was established in 1994 for “recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.”  How can your brand tie in with this day or another opportunity during the during the year?
