To grow your brand, it is important to know who your competitors are. There are two type of competitors: direct and indirect.
Direct competitors sell what you do, in a manner that you do it. Indirect competitors sell a similar product or service, but in a different way. Sit down restaurant versus a sit down restaurant are direct competitors. Sit down restaurant versus a fast food restaurant are indirect competitors. Both serve food, but with different type of menu, pricing and way of serving customers.
