Yesterday I shared about looking for potential brand customers, in niche markets. Once you have identified a niche customer market, look how your brand can better connect with these individuals and add value to their life.
Here is another niche example, handicapped individuals. As of 2015, there were 36 million people who have at least one disability, about 12 percent of the total U.S. population.
Better connecting and adding value example: this company has reserved parking spaces closer to the store entrance to make it easier and more convenient for them to shop.
Also they promote an order groceries online program at the reserved parking space. Value add program: Ordering Groceries through Expresslane couldn’t be easier! Groceries for Pickup or Delivery.
Most grocery and retail chains only have the reserved handicapped parking space sign.
Another opportunity is around International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3). This is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992. How can your brand tie in with this day or another opportunity during the during the year?
